The Academic year begins in April. The medium of instruction is English. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. CICSE is a globally recognized study course that focuses on delivering a holistic curriculum. It is renowned for its excellent focus on the English language. Students are offered the opportunity to study advanced texts such as those by Shakespeare, which helps them develop a deep grasp on the language. It also offers an extensive list of subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Civics, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Accounts, Physical Education and Punjabi. For Class XI and XII, we offer all four courses–Commerce, Medical, Non-Medical and Humanities. The school regularly organizes parent-teacher meetings for the convenience of the guardians.

 

• The lively culture of the school promotes various cultural programmes. The school takes an active note of the rich diversity of the nation and encourages students to practice different dance forms. In the past, students have presented Rajasthani, Punjabi and Haryanvi folk dances in school ceremonies as well as in inter-school competitions.

The faculty motivates students to perform on stage and sharpen their confidence and oratory. In the past, students have showcased scenes from Shakespeare’s plays, and have been lauded for their command of the English language.

• The house system has been designed to create a supportive environment where students can engage in healthy competition with their peers. There are four houses– Pratap, Azad, Ranjeet and Subhash. Students are allotted a house that they continue to belong to throughout the course of their studies. This encourages a sense of identity while developing their leadership potential.

Throughout the year, students participate in various religious festivals with great enthusiasm. These celebrations help young minds appreciate and respect the traditions of different religions and cultures.

• We are conscious of the need to focus on children’s physical well-being in addition to their mental health. The school offers facilities for several outdoor and indoor games. All students are encouraged to take up sports from a wide variety of choices including cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. The school appoints a trained PE teacher and strives to provide professional coaches whenever necessary.
