Established in the year 2004, Sawan International School Lalru has succeeded in building a reputation as a stellar academic institute. Situated on the Ambala Chandigarh Highway, about 15 kms from Ambala and 30 kms from Chandigarh, the institute believes in the holistic development of all its students. It is a co-educational institute run by Sawan Educational Society, a registered society entirely dedicated to the cause of education. The school welcomes students from all backgrounds– caste, class and religion play no role in the admission decisions.
Admissions Process

Registration for admission is compulsory.

Admission is granted on the basis of merit alone.

An authentic certificate of date of birth has to be produced at the time of admission.

A print out of the child’s photo as well as a family photo needs to be attached.

No student will be admitted without a transfer certificate from the school last attended.

Entrance test at the time of seeking admission is compulsory.

As per the government policy, the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) quota will be applied.
The school recognizes the need for financial equality and ensures that no deserving child is denied an education because of their financial status.

The school allocates a special scholarship fund worth Rs 1 lakh for deserving students. In case a family has two or more siblings, a sibling concession quota is granted.

For needy students, fee concessions will be given on a case by case basis.

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. CICSE is a globally recognized study course that focuses on delivering a holistic curriculum. It is renowned for its excellent focus on the English language. It also offers an extensive list of subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Civics, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Accounts, Physical Education and Punjabi. For Class XI and XII, we offer all four courses–Commerce, Medical, Non-Medical and Humanities.
